Booking process:
Confirmation: Once you have submitted your booking request the Booking and Touring team will get back to you with a proposed date via email. Please CONFIRM the date or let them know if the proposed date does not work. The $45 booking fee per performance booked will be added to the total amount at this time. Rejection: If the date does not work for you, there is an option to REJECT the date on the contract. Please do so as soon as possible as it informs the artist if the performance is happening or not. It also allows the Booking and Touring team to find an alternative date.Invoices: You will receive the artist fee and booking fee invoices 3-5 weeks in advance of your performance date if contracts as signed in a timely manner. All invoices are sent via email. *Please note if your school participates in District Billing the invoices will be sent directly to our district contact. If you aren't sure contact the Booking and Touring Team*Artist Confirmation: Once a date has been confirmed, you will be sent a Presenter Contract via email which will need to be signed prior to the booking date. If you do not sign the Presenter Contract one month before the booking confirmed date, the booking may be cancelled. The artist will send you their confirmation and any supporting materials 1-3 weeks in advance of their performance. We encourage you to share this with your teachers to support learning before, during and after a performance.Monthly Reminders: ArtStarts will send you a final reminder of your performance 2 weeks prior to your performance date.Booking Reminder: The booking contact and school/district are responsible for reading through the artist's info and making sure the content feels suitable for your students. This also includes noting the artist's audience capacity and making sure you are not booking shows with audiences that go over capacity.
